Big Sister Newborn Photos

This big sister has been coming to visit the studio since she was quite tiny herself but this was the first time she proudly presented her brand new baby brother.

Siblings are always welcome to join in at a newborn photo shoot of course.  We always work to their comfort level when it comes to posing them with the new arrival.  In this big sister’s case, she was amazing and providing the right level of support to her brother so it was safe to use a seated pose.  When children are younger or not confident in safely holding their sibling, we work with everyone lying down on the floor – that way we don’t need to worry about anything other than getting a great expression.  In either case, a parent is always close at hand just out of shot to intervene in case of unexpected squirming, however unlikely it might be.  Safety first, always…
